With a focus on the treatment of trauma, Womencare Counseling and Training Center has provided psychotherapy and professional training for more than 30 years. Earlier this year, Womencare announced their intention to create a caring community of therapists who share their values of community, social justice, and a relational approach to therapy.
This is not a traditional group practice: I will remain the owner of my solo practice. But I will pool resources with the other members of Womencare, and I will have the opportunity to learn from their immense experience and wisdom. I will also take part in shaping this exciting new chapter in the history of Womencare.
In practical terms, the biggest change is that I can now offer in-person sessions! Beginning the week of July 7, I will be in the office every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The Womencare offices are located at 1740 Ridge Ave., Suite 201, Evanston, IL.
I will continue to offer telehealth, including on the days that I’m in the office. In addition to Telehealth by Simple Practice, I can now offer video sessions on Zoom for those who prefer that platform.
I will also have new contact information to go with my new office. At this time, I plan to retain my current phone number and email address, but there will be additional ways to contact me when I am in the office (details coming soon).
